This avenue of trees in Llafranc always gives me a strong sense of movement through the twisting and turning of the trunks and branches.

This is one of my more impressionistic pieces in its representation of the sense of movement and dance above the detail of the scene.

I was particularly pleased with the way that my use of Persian Rose in the palette added to feel of movement in the painting and I now often use this colour in many of my works.
